JAX Swim School... Learn to swim...Strengthen you skills...Prepare for the team! 

Group lessons (2-4 swimmers) are divided into levels 101, 201, 301, and 401. Swimmers must be able to demonstrate the 101 skills before moving up to 201 classes, and so forth. Your child's coach will provide feedback at the end of the session to help you decide what to sign up for next. Mastering the skills of each level often takes more than one session of lessons, but the timeframe will vary based on individual factors, such as age, prior experience, and frequency of lessons. Shark School (scroll to the bottom of this page) is offered for swimmers between level 401 and the Bronze level of the competitive team. Private lessons are also available.

JAX Summer Swim Team ... Welcome to the Sport of Competitive Swimming!

Summer Swim Team skill and stamina goals are the same as for Shark School (see above). In addition, Summer Swim Team members have the opportunity to participate in beginner-friendly swim meets. 
 
JAX Summer Swim Team is for swimmers who want to participate in the sport of swimming for the summer. Our goal is for Summer Swim Team members to both enjoy swimming and also get introduced tocompetitive swimming by encouraging beginner-friendly meets. We want our Summer Swim Team members to develop enthusiasm for swimming and swimming on a competitive team, so that they may want to continue once they are offered placement opportunities within the JAX Competitive Swim Team in August.  In each 45-minute practice, swimmers will work on building the skills, stamina, and knowledge needed to participate in meets and to prepare for Bronze - the entry level of our competitive team.
